The heart of it is a match-grade 416R stainless barrel chambered in .223 Wylde, which is the sweet spot for anyone who wants to run both .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO without giving up accuracy. It has a 1:8 twist that handles modern bullet weights nicely, a polished crown, and M4 feed ramps at the extension for smooth feeding. The 14.5" barrel comes with a pinned and welded Dead Air flash hider that brings the setup to 16" overall length, and that muzzle device doubles as a mount for compatible Dead Air suppressors. A mid-length gas system keeps the recoil impulse soft and the bolt running clean.
The upper itself is billet machined from 7075-T6 aluminum with M4 feed ramps and a lightweight forward assist. Radian's proprietary extended aluminum handguard uses the Magpul M-LOK system for lights, lasers, and grips, and it locks to the receiver with an integrated stainless steel anti-rotation pin so your accessories hold zero. The subdued Radian Grey finish looks sharp and pairs with just about any lower you'd want to build on.
