The Radian Weapons A-DAC 15 is a purpose-built foundation for serious AR builds. Machined from billet 7075-T6 aluminum with a durable Radian Brown Cerakote finish, this semi-complete lower gives you a strong, premium platform that stands out for its thoughtful design and precision tolerances.
The standout feature here is the patented A-DAC (Ambidextrous Dual Action Catch) system. Instead of reaching for the bolt release with a second hand or awkward finger movement, right-handed users can lock the bolt to the rear while maintaining their grip on the trigger area. Pull the charging handle back, press the right-side magazine release button, then release the handle. It sounds simple because it is, but once you've used it you'll understand why builders seek this receiver out. The SART spring-loaded plunger also works to minimize upper and lower receiver wobble, which matters when you're trying to dial in precision.
The lower comes equipped with a Talon Ambidextrous Safety Selector, left-side magazine release paddle, and right-side bolt release. The A-DAC (Ambidextrous Dual Action Catch) is a patented feature that lets right-handed users lock the bolt to the rear without removing their hand from fire control. Simply pull the charging handle back, press the right-side magazine release button, then release the charging handle and it stays locked. For left-handers, the right-side bolt release paddle works the same way.
This is a stripped lower receiver, meaning it doesn't include a trigger group, buffer tube, or stock. You'll need to purchase those components separately to complete the lower. All the proprietary Radian hardware and controls come installed.
Yes, the A-DAC 15 will work with any standard AR-platform upper receiver. While Radian uppers pair exceptionally well with Radian lowers for tight tolerances and fit, you have complete flexibility to use whatever upper you choose for your build.
The SART (Self-Adjusting Receiver Tensioner) is a spring-loaded plunger that reduces wobble between the upper and lower receiver. It creates a tighter fit without you having to do anything, which helps with accuracy and makes the rifle feel more solid during operation.
