The 16 inch match grade 416R stainless steel barrel is chambered in .223 Wylde, which means it runs both 5.56 NATO and .223 Remington and squeezes better accuracy out of each. Radian backs it with a sub-MOA guarantee using Black Hills match grade ammo, which is not a claim you see on many production rifles. The polished crown and feed ramps, 1/2×28 threaded muzzle with a Dead Air flash hider, and a smooth direct impingement gas system round out an upper that is built to shoot tight and run clean. The trigger is the ATC AR Gold, a genuine match trigger that breaks like glass, and there is even a titanium forward assist because Radian does not do ordinary parts.
Left-handed folks usually get treated as an afterthought on the AR platform. Not here. The Model 1 gives you a fully ambidextrous safety selector, bolt catch and release, and magazine release, plus Radian's own Raptor-SD ambidextrous charging handle up top. Whichever shoulder you run it from, every control falls right where your hand expects it.

Yes. The .223 Wylde chamber is designed to safely handle both .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO ammunition. Better yet, the Wylde chamber typically delivers tighter accuracy with both loads than a standard 5.56 chamber, which is a big part of why match rifles use it.
