Because they clamp straight onto Ruger's proprietary factory dovetail, there's no separate base to buy and nothing extra to bolt on. You get a clean, direct mount that keeps your optic sitting low and tight to the bore.
The star of the show is the indexable quick-detach lever. Pull out on the lever, twist it to whatever position works best for your setup, and let it snap back into place. When you need to pull the scope, flip the lever and lift the optic off. Drop it back on and Warne backs it with a Return-to-Zero guarantee, so your point of impact stays put between swaps. These are a solid steel, vertically split ring, so they shrug off heavy recoil and handle larger, heavier scopes without flinching.
