Q started with a clean sheet and built a one-piece receiver that skips the chassis entirely, which is a big part of why this 6.5 Creedmoor version stays so light for what it does. Add a folding, fully adjustable stock and you get a rifle that tucks down small enough for a pack or a truck safe, then deploys into a legitimate long-range tool in seconds.
The bolt is where you feel the difference first. Instead of the usual 90 degree lift, The Fix runs a 45 degree short-throw handle that clears low-mounted optics and cycles fast enough to keep you on target for follow-up shots. The two-stage match trigger breaks clean out of the box, and plenty of owners who normally swap triggers on day one end up leaving this one alone. Controls follow the AR pattern, so the safety and magazine release land right where your thumb and trigger finger expect them. It feeds from SR-25 pattern magazines, which means affordable mags are everywhere, and one 10-rounder ships with the rifle.
The stainless steel barrel runs a 1:7 twist that stabilizes the heavy, high-BC bullets 6.5 Creedmoor is known for, and owners report sub-MOA groups with quality match and hunting loads. The muzzle is threaded 5/8×24 with a tapered shoulder and comes capped with Q's Cherry Bomb brake, which tames recoil on its own and serves as a quick mount for Q suppressors. Up top, a full-length M1913 Picatinny rail gives you all the real estate you need for a scope and accessories, while the free-floating Q-Sert handguard keeps pressure off the barrel. The Fix feeds from SR-25 pattern magazines, the same style used by many .308 AR platforms. That means mags from Magpul and other major makers will run in it, and they are easy to find and reasonably priced. One 10-round magazine comes in the box.
Yes. The 16 inch stainless barrel is threaded 5/8×24 with a tapered muzzle, and the included Cherry Bomb brake doubles as a quick-attach mount for Q suppressors like the Thunder Chicken. If you run a different brand of can, the standard thread pitch keeps your options open.

With the side-folding stock closed, the 16 inch 6.5 Creedmoor version shrinks to roughly 26 inches overall. That is short enough to fit in most backpacks, cases, and tight safe spaces. The hinge locks up solid when deployed, so you are not trading stability for portability.
