Q teamed up with Reptilia, the crew behind the original AUS Mount, to build something purpose-made for The Fix and Mini Fix. Instead of stacking a scope on top of a Picatinny rail, this mount clamps directly to the receiver. That means less height, less weight, and a cleaner line from optic to bore. If you've been running your Fix with a rail-and-rings setup and wanted to trim the fat, this is the answer. It's cut for 35mm scope tubes and finished in a clear anodized coating that shows off the raw machined look.
The whole mount is machined from a single piece of 7075-T6 billet aluminum, so there are no joints or shims to work loose. The finish is a MIL-STD Type III, Class 2 hard anodize, which is the tough stuff that shrugs off scuffs and holds up to weather. Reptilia designed it with rounded chamfers and radii throughout, so you're not catching a knuckle on a sharp edge when you're working the bolt fast. Torque specs for the rings are engraved right on the mount, which is a nice touch when you're setting up in the field and don't want to dig through a manual.
The Fix is already one of the lightest bolt guns you can buy, with a folding stock and adjustable cheek piece built for hunters and precision guys who count every ounce. Bolting the optic straight to the receiver keeps that philosophy intact. There's no rail adding height or grams, and the low, repeatable interface helps the scope return to zero after the stock folds and unfolds for travel. It's the cleanest way to glass up the platform without changing what makes it special.
Installation is straightforward and the mount is compatible with Reptilia's ROF accessory line if you want to add an offset red dot down the road. Made in the USA and backed by Reptilia's lifetime warranty against manufacturer defects, this one is built to ride on your rifle for the long haul.
This mount is built specifically for Q's The Fix and Mini Fix rifles. It bolts directly to the receiver, so you don't need a Picatinny rail to run it. It won't fit other platforms since the footprint is machined for the Fix receiver.
This version is cut for 35mm diameter scope tubes. Q also offers the AUS Direct Mount in 30mm and 34mm diameters if your optic has a different tube size, so double-check your scope before ordering.
