This is the large-frame magwell piece of the PWS UXR XChange system, sized for the longer cartridges the platform runs. The UXR is built around one serialized receiver that lets you jump between calibers by changing just three parts: the barrel, the bolt head, and this magwell. Snap this one in with the matching 308 or 6.5 Creedmoor barrel and bolt, and your rifle is set up for the heavies without ever touching the serialized lower.
The magwell is molded from polymer and shaped on the outside to accept AR10/SR25 pattern magazines, which is the standard feed system for 308 Winchester and 6.5 Creedmoor rifles. Both of those rounds share the same case head and overall length, so a magazine built for one feeds the other just fine. That means the same D&H, Magpul, or Lancer mags you already own will run in this magwell no problem.
PWS built the whole UXR for lefties and righties alike, and this magwell carries that through with an ambidextrous release setup. Whichever side you run your controls on, the magwell keeps up.
