Weight follows suit, ranging from 12.7 ounces in the short setup to 17.4 ounces fully assembled, which is light for a can rated all the way up to .300 Win Mag.
The BDE 762 uses a hybrid build. The blast chamber and primary baffle section are 3D printed from aerospace-grade titanium, which lets PWS shape internal geometry in ways traditional machining can't, while the removable baffles and end cap are conventionally machined titanium. The whole thing wears Type 2 anodizing under a high-temp Cerakote finish, and the textured exterior does double duty by helping break up heat mirage over the top of your scope during longer strings. That's a detail precision guys will appreciate the first time they don't have to wait out a shimmering sight picture.
Modular cans live or die by their threads, and PWS thought this through. The baffles are taper-threaded, which fights both carbon lock and the slow loosening that plagues some multi-piece designs. Symmetrical notches in the baffles keep things consistent so you don't chase a shifting zero every time you change configurations.
The rear of the can is threaded 1.375×24, the industry HUB standard, so it plays nice with most popular mounting systems on the market. PWS includes a 5/8×24 direct thread insert in the box, meaning you can spin it straight onto a threaded 30 cal barrel the day it comes home. From a bolt gun in 6.5 Creedmoor to a .308 semi-auto to a magnum hunting rifle, this is one suppressor that genuinely covers the whole rack.
It's rated up to .300 Win Mag, which covers pretty much the whole centerfire rifle spectrum below that bore size. That means .308 Win, 7.62 NATO, 6.5 Creedmoor, 300 Blackout, and even 5.56 rifles are all fair game. One can really can cover multiple rifles here.
