The PWS 13.5×1 LH Piston adapts your suppressor's booster assembly to the 13.5×1 left-hand thread pattern found on a lot of European pistols, including certain HK, Beretta, and CZ factory threaded barrels. Left-hand threading is simply the factory standard on many European threaded barrels rather than a performance choice you make. A standard right-hand piston will not thread onto a 13.5×1 LH barrel at all, which is why a dedicated LH piston like this one exists.
