A booster assembly is great when your can is riding on a tilting-barrel pistol, but on a fixed-barrel host it is just extra weight and extra parts doing nothing for you. That is where this PWS 1/2×28 thread mount earns its spot in your range bag. Swap out the piston setup, thread this fixed mount in its place, and your suppressor spins onto any 1/2×28 muzzle with a rigid, repeatable fit. It is a simple part that makes one suppressor a lot more useful across multiple guns.
The 1/2×28 thread pattern is about as universal as it gets, covering most threaded 9mm pistol barrels, the vast majority of rimfire hosts, and standard 5.56 muzzles. PWS built this mount for their BDE pistol suppressor line, and since the BDE uses the common ALPHA-style piston interface, it plays nicely in that ecosystem. If you have been swapping one can between a PCC, a rimfire plinker, and a threaded pistol, keeping a dedicated mount installed on the fixed-barrel gun cuts down on fiddling at the range and keeps alignment consistent every time you thread up.
Primary Weapons Systems has been machining muzzle devices since 2008, back before they ever built a rifle, so precision thread work is in their DNA. The black anodized finish shrugs off carbon and weather, and the whole thing is covered by the PWS limited lifetime warranty, which is fully transferable and does not require a receipt. Installation is straightforward and there is not much to it: remove the piston assembly from your suppressor, thread the mount in, snug it to spec, and get back to shooting quietly. Small part, big convenience.
It converts a pistol suppressor from a booster-style piston setup to a fixed direct thread mount. On fixed-barrel hosts like PCCs, rimfire guns, and rifles, a booster is unnecessary, so this mount gives you a more rigid, simpler connection to any 1/2×28 threaded muzzle.
PWS designed it for their BDE pistol suppressor line, which uses the common ALPHA-style piston mounting interface. If you are running a different brand of can, check that it accepts ALPHA-pattern mounts before ordering. When in doubt, verify with your suppressor's manual or give us a call.
It is one of the most common thread patterns out there. Most threaded 9mm pistol barrels, nearly all .22 LR hosts, and standard 5.56/.223 rifle muzzles come threaded 1/2×28. Always confirm your specific barrel's thread pitch before mounting anything.
Nothing exotic. You will remove the piston assembly from your suppressor using the wrenches that came with the can, then thread this mount into the same interface and snug it down. Follow the torque guidance in your suppressor's manual and check it stays tight during your first range session.
