The 1:7.5 twist is the detail that matters most here. The 6mm ARC was designed around long, heavy-for-caliber bullets in the 100 to 110 grain range, and that fast twist is what keeps those slippery match projectiles stabilized out past 1,000 yards. Chambered by Hornady's own recipe, the round bridges the gap between 5.56 and .308, giving you flatter flight, softer recoil, and real long-range reach out of a standard AR-15 lower.
