This 7 PRC version starts with a Lone Peak Arms Razor stainless action, one of the smoothest running actions in the custom rifle world, and mates it to Proof's patented carbon fiber wrapped Sendero contour barrel. At 24 inches with a 1:8 twist, the barrel gives the 7 PRC cartridge room to stretch its legs, pushing heavy, high BC bullets at velocities that make cross-canyon shots on elk and mule deer feel a whole lot more manageable.
The stock is Proof's own carbon fiber Lightweight Mountain Hunter design finished in Tactical Flat Dark Earth, and it is bedded for consistent accuracy shot after shot. A TriggerTech trigger handles fire control with the kind of crisp, zero-creep break that makes precise shooting easier when your heart rate is up and the wind is doing its own thing. This model uses a stainless steel Lone Peak Arms Razor action, while the Glacier Ti runs a titanium action to trim more weight. The steel version costs less to build and gives up very little in the field, and both carry Proof's sub 1/2 MOA accuracy guarantee. If you want the stiffest, most proven setup and do not mind a few extra ounces, the steel Glacier is the smart pick.
