The ProMag DRM-A53 is purpose-built for SCCY CPX-1 and CPX-2 9mm pistols, giving you the option to stretch your range time or practice without constant reloading. With 50 rounds in a single magazine, you'll stay focused on the target instead of fumbling with multiple smaller mags.
DuPont Zytel Polymer Construction and Steel Tower Support The drum housing uses a proprietary DuPont Zytel-based polymer body paired with a steel-reinforced upper tower. The tower itself features a full-length stamped-and-welded steel insert that mirrors the factory magazine design, giving you the same fit and function you'd expect from ProMag's reputation. The polymer keeps weight down while the steel where it counts ensures durability.
Reliable Feeding and Spring Performance Inside, you'll find an injection-molded follower and a heat-treated stainless steel spring engineered for consistent cartridge presentation. This is the kind of component engineering that shows up in repetitive, trouble-free feeding at the range. No guessing games, no unexpected stoppages. The precision-engineered feed lips create a snug, wobble-free fit in your CPX platform.
Made in the USA and Built to Last ProMag backs this magazine with a lifetime warranty against manufacturer defects, which tells you something about the confidence in the build quality. And since it's made in the USA, you're supporting domestic manufacturing alongside getting a magazine engineered and tested for real-world use.
Yes, the DRM-A53 is compatible with both SCCY CPX-1 and CPX-2 pistols. It's designed to function across the entire SCCY CPX platform, so if you own either model, this drum will fit and feed reliably.
ProMag drums feature a hand-crank loading mechanism that makes filling easier than doing it by hand. Most people can load all 50 rounds in just a few minutes, though practice speeds things up considerably.
The stainless steel spring and injection-molded follower are engineered to feed consistently with standard 9mm rounds. The precision-engineered feed lips create a snug fit that prevents wobbling, which helps maintain reliable feeding across different ammunition brands.
Every ProMag magazine is backed by a lifetime warranty against manufacturer defects, so you're covered for the life of the magazine if anything goes wrong with materials or workmanship.
