ProMag Saiga 12-Round Drum Magazine 12-Gauge Black

Description

The ProMag Saiga 12-Round Drum Magazine delivers the extra capacity your Saiga needs without the weight and bulk that comes with standard stick magazines. This drum holds 12 rounds of 2-3/4" ammunition and uses a 5-inch diameter profile that keeps your gun nimble when you're shooting from the shoulder. That's double what most box mags offer, meaning longer sessions downrange between magazine changes.

ProMag's Build Quality

The body is constructed from high-impact polymer with steel reinforcement inserts built in for durability. The springs are precision-wound from heat-treated chrome silicon wire, and the follower is injection-molded from durable polymers. Every drum comes backed by ProMag's lifetime manufacturer guarantee against defects. The magazine is made in the USA, which counts as a compliance part if you're working with specific regulatory requirements on your platform.

Fit and Function

This drum is designed specifically for the Saiga 12-gauge shotgun platform and accepts standard 2-3/4" shells only. Customers report that fit varies depending on your specific shotgun model. Some users get a perfect out-of-the-box fit, while others need minor filing on the rear tab to seat it properly, which ProMag includes instructions for. Once fitted, the magazine functions smoothly for loading and unloading. A few owners note it can be tough on the fingers when fully loaded, but feeds reliably once in the gun.

Why the Compact Drum Design Matters

Unlike traditional stick magazines that get unwieldy when you're running longer reload strings, this drum's compact footprint keeps your gun's balance point closer to where you're holding it. You get double the rounds without the length penalty. That makes it a solid choice for three-gun competitors, range sessions, and anyone who wants sustained firepower from their Saiga without switching between different magazine styles.
