This magazine is built for LR-308 (DPMS) and SR-25 pattern AR-10 platform rifles. It fits most modern AR-308 builds from quality manufacturers. The drum has a square flat base that sits stable on a bench or in your gun bag. One thing to note: the drum is taller than standard magazines, so if you're prone shooting with a bipod, you'll want to be aware of the high point it creates.
