Looking to maximize your time between reloads at the range? The ProMag Canik TP9 drum magazine gives you 50 rounds of 9mm in a single mag, cutting down those frequent reloads during extended shooting sessions. Whether you're running drills, practicing for competition, or just want more rounds downrange before reaching for another magazine, this drum delivers.
The magazine body is constructed from a proprietary DuPont Zytel-based polymer that keeps weight down while holding up to repeated use. The upper tower features a blue steel insert that's stamped and welded like factory magazines for a rigid feed lip and reliable engagement with your TP9's magazine catch. Inside, you get an injection-molded polymer follower and a spring formed from heat-treated stainless steel. This combination handles thousands of rounds without significant wear.
The drum comes with a hand-crank loading mechanism, which is standard for this style magazine. Yes, it takes a bit longer to load than a stick magazine, but you're trading loading time for extended shooting time once you lock it in. After it's loaded and seated, the spring keeps tension consistent from round one through round fifty.
ProMag backs every magazine with a lifetime warranty against manufacturer defects. The whole thing is made in the USA. This isn't a premium competition mag meant for tuned match guns, but it's built solid for range work, training, and anyone who wants the convenience of 50 rounds on tap for their TP9.
Yes, this magazine fits all Canik TP9 series pistols. It's engineered specifically for the TP9 platform with a steel tower and polymer drum designed to seat securely in your pistol's magazine well.
The hand-crank mechanism is the standard way to load drum magazines. It takes more time than loading a stick magazine, but it's straightforward once you get the rhythm down. Most shooters find it manageable, though loading fifty rounds does take a few minutes.
ProMag drums are well-suited for range days and training when used with clean, well-maintained firearms and standard ammunition. The steel tower and durable spring system handle high-volume shooting, though like any magazine, performance depends on keeping it clean and storing it properly between sessions.
ProMag backs this magazine with a lifetime warranty against manufacturer defects. If there's a defect in materials or construction, ProMag will repair or replace it at their discretion.
