This extended, ported steel choke was purpose built for the Tungsten Super Shot loads that turned the turkey woods upside down, and it does the job by holding pellets together into a dense cluster that gives you a real margin for error at longer range.
With a .650 constriction and an Invector-Plus thread pattern, this tube fits Browning and Winchester-style barrels that use the Invector-Plus system. It runs about an inch past the muzzle, so the knurled end is easy to grab and spin in by hand. While it is tuned around TSS, it also patterns nicely with HEVI-Shot, copper-plated lead, and standard lead, so you have options depending on what is on the shelf. One thing worth noting: this choke is not made for steel shot.
Setup is simple. Wipe down the barrel threads and the tube, add a little choke tube grease, then thread it in carefully so you don't cross-thread, and hand-tighten only. No wrench required. It is smart to check the tube for tightness now and then over a long season of shooting. Pair it with a quality TSS turkey load in a 7, 8, or 9 shot and pattern your gun on paper before opening day so you know exactly where your gun prints and how far it holds together.

This tube is cut with a Browning Invector-Plus thread pattern, so it fits 12 gauge shotguns built for the Invector-Plus system, which includes many Browning and Winchester models. Before ordering, check your barrel or owner's manual to confirm it uses Invector-Plus and not the standard Invector, since those two are not interchangeable. Threading the wrong choke can damage your barrel.
Yes. While the JellyHead is tuned around Tungsten Super Shot for the tightest patterns, it also handles HEVI-Shot, copper-plated lead, and standard lead just fine. The one exception is steel shot, which this choke is not designed to fire.
No tools needed. The extended, knurled end is made to grip and hand-tighten. Just clean and grease the threads first, spin it in carefully to avoid cross-threading, and snug it down by hand without over-tightening. Give it a quick check for tightness now and then during the season.
