The Turkish walnut stock and forend give the Sport Tek Trap a classic look, but the real story is the adjustable cheekpiece. Raise or lower the comb until your eye lines up the same way every single time you mount the gun, and your scores will thank you. That kind of adjustability is something you normally find on guns costing quite a bit more, and it matters more in trap than almost any other clay game since you call for the bird with the gun already mounted.
Pointer includes five Beretta Mobil pattern extended choke tubes: Cylinder, Improved Cylinder, Modified, Improved Modified, and Full. Screw in the Improved Modified or Full for 16-yard singles and handicap work, or open things up if you want to shoot patterns, break in a new shooter, or take it out for some informal clays. It uses Beretta Mobil pattern threads and ships with five extended tubes: Cylinder, Improved Cylinder, Modified, Improved Modified, and Full. Since Mobil is one of the most common choke systems out there, aftermarket tubes are easy to find if you want more options down the road.
The comb section of the Turkish walnut stock adjusts for height, letting you raise your eye to line up properly with the raised rib. Getting that eye-to-rib alignment consistent is one of the biggest factors in trap scores, and once it's set for you, the gun mounts the same way every time.
