The result is a complete 5.56 NATO upper that pairs a 16.5-inch nitride heat treated barrel with a fistful of upgrades that go past looks and into how the gun runs. It bolts onto any mil-spec lower, so you can drop it on a receiver you already own and be ready to shoot.
The standout feature is the Dictator 9-position adjustable gas block feeding a straight gas tube. That means you can tune the gas down for a suppressor, open it up for underpowered ammo, or find a soft-shooting middle ground somewhere in between. The straight tube layout cuts down on the heat buildup that plagues standard bent gas tubes, and POF's roller cam pin swaps the usual sliding contact inside the bolt carrier for a rolling one. Less friction means a smoother cycle and less wear where the carrier meets the upper.
The barrel is 4150 chrome moly vanadium steel with a 1:8 twist and 5R rifling, finished in black nitride for corrosion resistance and an easy clean. Up front sits the 14.5-inch M-LOK Renegade rail, which is slim, light, and built around POF's oversized heat sink barrel nut for fast heat dissipation. You get M-LOK slots at the 3, 6, and 9 positions plus a full-length Picatinny top rail and QD sling points. The upper ships with the Keylock nitride bolt carrier group carrying that roller cam pin, an ambidextrous Tomahawk charging handle, and a triple port muzzle brake threaded 1/2×28.
