This is a purpose-built 9mm large-format pistol with a monolithic upper receiver, meaning the handguard and upper are machined as one continuous piece of aerospace-grade aluminum. No wobbly rail joints, no weak points, and a full-length top rail that holds zero for whatever optic you bolt on. This version wears a Flat Dark Earth Cerakote finish and comes fitted with a Mission First Tactical stabilizing brace and MFT grip, so it arrives ready to run instead of ready for a parts order.
The Phoenix uses a direct blowback operating system, the same simple, proven action that has kept pistol caliber guns cycling reliably for decades. POF tuned the bolt mass carefully, so recoil is mild and the muzzle stays flat, helped along by the two-port brake threaded onto the 8-inch barrel. The forward charging handle is non-reciprocating, can swap to either side, and folds flat when you don't need it. Controls on the billet lower are fully ambidextrous, covering the safety, bolt release, and mag release. Lefties get a real seat at the table here, not an afterthought.
The 1/2×28 threaded muzzle makes this an easy suppressor host, and 9mm through a can on a blowback gun is about as fun as range time gets. Feeding comes from POF's proprietary 35-round magazine, a curved double-stack design built for smooth, consistent feeding, and a polymer mag loader is included to save your thumbs. It does. This model ships with a Mission First Tactical stabilizer already mounted to the 1913 Picatinny rail at the rear of the receiver, plus an MFT grip. Since that rear interface is a standard 1913 rail, swapping to a different rail-mounted attachment down the road is simple.
