The Phase 5 EBR V3 Extended Bolt Release takes the standard mil-spec bolt catch on your AR-15 and turns it into something you can hit from either side of the rifle. By running the lever back into the trigger well, it gives you access on the right side of the gun, so you can lock and release the bolt without breaking your grip or doing an awkward hand shuffle.
