The .33 XC is a big-bore cartridge born for reaching way out there, and Peterson Cartridge brass is the foundation a lot of ELR folks build their loads on. This cartridge was the brainchild of David Tubb, who also designed the 6 XC, and he worked directly with Derek Peterson to develop the tool pack for it. The round shares the same head and tube base diameter as the .338 Lapua Magnum but runs less body taper, a steeper shoulder angle, and a taller case that holds noticeably more powder, even taller than a CheyTac. That extra capacity is what lets the .33 XC drive heavy bullets fast and flat for the distances most people never think about shooting.
Peterson runs a facility dedicated entirely to brass, and it shows in the consistency. These cases are turned out with tight wall thickness control, uniform primer pockets, and clean flash holes so ignition and velocity stay repeatable from one piece to the next. For a cartridge aimed at two-mile territory, that case-to-case uniformity is what keeps your velocity spreads tight and your vertical honest at distance.
Each case comes unprimed, so you've got full control over your primer choice and load workup. The brass is annealed and given a final cleaning before it leaves the factory, which cuts down on the prep time before you can get to the good part.
