Plenty of companies build 10.5 inch AR pistols. Not many build them the way Patriot Ordnance Factory does. The Minuteman starts with billet aluminum upper and P-15 lower receivers dressed in a Patriot Brown Cerakote finish, then adds the kind of internal upgrades POF built its reputation on. The bolt carrier group runs a roller cam pin instead of the standard square key, cutting friction and keeping it from chewing up the inside of your upper receiver over thousands of rounds. The patented E2 dual extraction system uses four small channels cut into the chamber walls to let gas pressure help push spent cases out, which takes a huge load off the extractor and keeps this thing cycling when short barreled 5.56 guns tend to get finicky.
The 10.5 inch barrel is machined from 4150 chrome moly vanadium steel with 5R rifling in a 1:8 twist, so it stabilizes everything from 55 grain plinking ammo up through heavier match loads. The full nitride heat treatment hardens the surface inside and out for corrosion resistance and long barrel life, and the muzzle wears POF's three prong flash hider on standard 1/2×28 threads. A carbine length gas system keeps port pressure lower than the typical pistol length setup, which means softer cycling and less wear on parts.
POF drops in its single stage straight trigger with a clean 3.5 pound pull, a genuine match grade unit that most builders would pay real money to add later. Controls are set up for either hand with an ambidextrous safety selector and the ambi Strike Eagle charging handle, and the anti-tilt buffer tube cradles the rear of the carrier to prevent buffer tilt wear.
A 9 inch Renegade M-LOK handguard leaves room for a light and hand stop without adding bulk, and the MFT Engage V2 grip fills the hand nicely. At 5.5 pounds and 26.5 inches overall, it ships with one 30 round MFT magazine and is ready for optics right out of the box.

This breaks the seal between the case and chamber and helps shove the brass rearward, so the extractor does far less work. The practical payoff is more reliable cycling and dramatically longer extractor life, which matters on short barreled 5.56 guns.
No, it ships without sights, which is pretty standard for a pistol in this class. The flat top upper and M-LOK handguard give you plenty of real estate to mount a red dot, LPVO, or backup irons of your choosing. Most owners run a red dot on a gun this size.
The 10.5 inch barrel uses a 1:8 twist with 5R rifling, which is a great all-around rate for 5.56. It will stabilize common 55 grain range ammo just fine and also handles heavier 69 to 77 grain loads well. Heavier bullets tend to hold velocity better out of shorter barrels, so they are worth trying if you want the most from this setup.
