The ScopeCap Pro 59mm from One Hundred Concepts is built for scopes with a 50mm objective, so think of your 5-25×50 style optics and similar magnified glass. It brings together two ideas the company is known for, the ScopeCap and the HexCap, into one piece that guards your front lens and cuts glare at the same time. Instead of a fragile spring hinge, it runs on a shock cord system that stays quiet, lays flat, and can be fixed in the field with nothing more than a length of 1/8 inch shock cord.
The body is molded from durable nylon polymer with an integral hexagonal lattice that recesses into the bezel of your optic. That hex mesh acts as a kill flash, breaking up the sunlight and white light that can bounce off your glass and give away your position. When the cap is flipped up, you can shoot straight through the lattice with minimal obstruction, and the updated 2.0 hex pattern is designed to pass more light than earlier anti-reflection setups. When it is flipped down, you get full lens coverage against scratches, dust, and weather.
One Hundred Concepts leaned on the signature integral flipper tab here, which lets you pop the cap off the bezel fast, even one-handed in low light. Doffed, it sits lower than traditional flip-style covers so it stays out of your way. Added texture around the key touch points gives you a better grip when your hands are cold or wet. If you ever need maximum brightness, the entire assembly pulls aside while staying tethered to the optic, so it is ready to redeploy the moment concealment matters again.
