Instead of bolting a separate light and mount onto your rail, this piece replaces the existing light body entirely and attaches directly to your handguard. This is a body mount, not a complete light. It uses Magpul's M-LOK interface to direct mount wherever your handguard supports it, cutting out the middleman between your rail and your light head.
