Nosler built its bulk brass line for handloaders who run through cases fast and want to handle their own prep. This 22 Creedmoor brass comes unprimed and non-weight-sorted, so you're getting a clean canvas to size, trim, and tune exactly how your rifle likes it. It carries the Nosler headstamp and uses a Large Rifle Primer pocket, and it's made from the same quality material and to the same tolerances as Nosler's prepped, boxed brass. The difference is simply that the prep is left to you, which is exactly what a lot of volume loaders prefer.
The 22 Creedmoor is a necked-down 6.5 Creedmoor running .224 caliber bullets, and it has earned a reputation as a flat-shooting, low-recoil round that reaches way out there. It thrives on heavy, high-BC bullets pushed at serious velocity, which makes it a favorite for coyote work, prairie dog towns, and long-range target shooting where wind is the enemy. Quality brass is the foundation of consistent handloads in a cartridge like this, and starting with a good case pays off every time you pull the trigger.
Since these arrive raw, plan to full-length size and trim to length before your first loading. A quick pass to chamfer and deburr the case mouths, plus a look inside for any flash hole burrs, sets you up for smooth, repeatable results. Running every case through your sizing die also squares up the necks and confirms they'll chamber without a fight. Once that groundwork is done, you've got brass that's ready to build a load around and reload again and again.
For the reloader who already owns the tools and enjoys the process, buying in bulk and doing the prep yourself is a smart way to keep quality high while stretching your components further.
No, this is Nosler's bulk unprepped brass, which is bagged raw and non-weight-sorted. You'll want to full-length size and trim it to length before your first loading, and most reloaders also chamfer, deburr, and check the flash holes. It's built for handloaders who prefer to do their own case prep.
This brass uses a Large Rifle Primer (LRP) pocket. Make sure the primers you pick match that size when you set up your load. It carries the Nosler headstamp like the rest of their brass lineup.
Yes, Nosler makes its bulk brass from the same materials and to the same tolerances as its prepped, boxed brass. The main difference is that the bulk version is not weight-sorted or prepped, so it comes at a friendlier price for high-volume loaders. You're essentially trading the prep labor for a lower cost per case.
The 22 Creedmoor is a flat-shooting, low-recoil round built on a necked-down 6.5 Creedmoor case running .224 bullets. It shines for varmint and predator hunting like coyotes and prairie dogs, plus long-range target shooting thanks to its high velocity and reduced wind drift. Handloading lets you dial in exactly the bullet weight and velocity your barrel prefers.
