The Nosler Varmageddon .300 AAC Blackout is built with a clear purpose: stopping varmints with precision and devastating effect. This load pairs a 110-grain, flat-base, polymer-tipped bullet with Nosler's premium brass to give you the velocity and accuracy needed for consistent results across all practical varmint ranges. The muzzle velocity of 2150 fps keeps your bullet on a flatter trajectory than heavier .300 Blackout loads, which matters when you're working fast-moving targets.
The bullet itself does the real work here. Nosler engineered the Varmageddon with a special lead-alloy core and copper-alloy jacket designed to deliver violent, rapid expansion upon impact. The polymer tip initiates the expansion, while the flat-base design gives you bench-rest level accuracy you don't normally get from a varmint round. That's intentional. The jacket gradually thickens from the tip down to the midsection, keeping the bullet together until impact regardless of velocity. Once it hits, it fragments hard and transfers maximum energy to the target.
Nosler created the Varmageddon line specifically for high-volume varmint hunters. That means you get legendary Nosler quality and accuracy without paying premium match-ammunition prices.
