The Conversion part of the name is the big draw here. This model ships with both a .22 Magnum cylinder and a .22 LR conversion cylinder, so you can run cheap .22 LR for plinking and practice, then swap over to .22 Mag when you want more punch. Swapping cylinders takes seconds by pulling the base pin, and it turns one small revolver into a much more versatile little companion. At just 5.88 inches overall and roughly 8.9 ounces, it disappears into a pocket without a second thought.
A lot of guns this small are rough to shoot well, which is where the Huntsman upgrades matter. Yes. NAA mini revolvers use safety notches machined between the chambers, so you can rest the hammer in a notch rather than over a live round. Carried this way, the gun is secure with a full 5 round cylinder.
Like all NAA minis, you remove the cylinder base pin and take the cylinder out of the frame to load and unload. The base pin doubles as an ejector to push out spent cases. It is a deliberate process, but simple once you have done it a couple times.
