The cylinder comes completely out of the frame for loading. Put the hammer at half cock, pull the cylinder pin, and remove the cylinder to load or eject your rounds. The pin itself works as an ejector to push out spent cases. It's slower than a swing-out cylinder, but it keeps the gun incredibly small and simple.
