The Bayco Nightstick NSR9514XL is a duty-size rechargeable LED flashlight built for people who lean on their gear day in and day out. It runs three microprocessor-controlled brightness levels plus a strobe, topping out at 850 lumens, and pairs that output with a deep parabolic reflector that pushes a tight, usable beam out to 325 meters. The housing is glass-filled nylon polymer with aircraft-grade aluminum in the tailcap and bezel, so it shrugs off drops, chemicals, and the occasional roll off the tailgate.
Most of the appeal here comes down to control and staying power. You get a two-button setup with a switch on the body and one in the tailcap that work in tandem, meaning you can drive the light comfortably whether you're holding it overhand, alongside a firearm, or clipped near your shoulder. On high it'll run about 6.5 hours, and dropping to medium or low stretches that runtime well into a long shift or a weekend of use before it needs a charge.
This light carries an IP-X7 waterproof rating, so brief submersion won't faze it, and it's impact resistant to withstand real-world abuse. The non-slip grip keeps it planted in wet or gloved hands, and the anti-roll ring keeps it from wandering when you set it down on an angled surface. It meets NFPA-1971-8.6 (2013) requirements, which tells you it was engineered with demanding professional use in mind.
Charging is flexible thanks to the included AC and DC power supplies and a charging dock, so you can top it off at home, at the station, or straight from a vehicle. The lithium-ion battery is included, and a full charge takes roughly four hours. Between the reach, the runtime, and the rugged build, it's a strong pick for law enforcement, first responders, outdoor use, and anyone who wants a dependable everyday carry light that won't quit on them.
It offers three output levels of 850, 200, and 50 lumens plus a strobe. On the high setting the deep parabolic reflector throws a usable beam out to roughly 325 meters, which is plenty for spotting things well down a hallway, field, or roadway. The lower modes are handy for close work and stretching out your runtime.
On full brightness you'll get about 6.5 hours, and dropping to the medium or low settings extends that runtime considerably. The included lithium-ion battery recharges in roughly four hours. It ships with a charging dock plus AC and DC power supplies, so you can charge it at home, at work, or in a vehicle.
Yes. It carries an IP-X7 waterproof rating, so short-term submersion won't hurt it, and it's impact and chemical resistant thanks to the glass-filled nylon polymer body and aluminum tailcap and bezel. It also meets NFPA-1971-8.6 (2013) requirements, so it was designed with hard professional use in mind.
There's one switch on the body and one in the tailcap, and they operate in tandem. This lets you run the light comfortably no matter how you're gripping it, whether that's overhand, alongside a firearm, or set down on a surface. Both give you momentary or constant-on control.
