Night Fision took a different route with their night sights, and the front sight shows it. Instead of the aluminum sleeves and painted-on rings you see everywhere, this one uses a patented injection-molded sleeve made from ballistic material that locks the tritium vial in place and forms a bright yellow ring around a green glowing center. The result is a defined dot that stands out in daylight and turns into a genuine beacon once the sun goes down.
The magic is in the domed lens. It collimates the tritium rays, which is a fancy way of saying it focuses the glow into a sharp, concentrated point instead of a soft blur. Night Fision also packs more tritium into their vials than a lot of competitors, and folks who have run everything from Trijicon to Meprolight to factory Glock sights consistently call these some of the brightest out there. The Swiss tritium does the work on its own too, so you are not stuck charging it under a flashlight before it lights up.
The body is CNC-machined from steel and wears a black nitride finish for wear and corrosion resistance, so it holds up to holster draws and the occasional knock. The yellow front ring pairs really well with a stock white or blacked-out rear, giving you a high-visibility front dot that your eye snaps to naturally. It measures 0.140 inches wide and 0.213 inches tall, which keeps you in a familiar Glock sight picture.

It fits a wide range of the Glock lineup, including the 17, 17L, 19, 22 through 28, 31 through 35, 37 through 43, along with the 20, 21, 29, 30, 36, 40, and 41 in S and SF variants. If your Glock uses standard steel factory sights, this front sight should drop right in. It does not fit models that only take polymer sights without the standard dovetail.
You can run it on its own. The yellow front ring pairs nicely with a stock white or blacked-out factory rear, and plenty of folks build exactly that setup for a high-visibility front dot. If you want a full night sight picture front and rear, Night Fision offers matching rear sights sold separately.
No. Tritium glows on its own through a self-powered reaction, so there is no charging under a flashlight or leaving it in the sun. The green tritium vial stays lit around the clock, which is the whole point of a true night sight over a photoluminescent one.
Night Fision recommends a gunsmith handle the install. The front sight needs to be pressed on with the right tool to seat it correctly without damaging the sight or the slide. If you have a proper sight pusher and some experience it is doable at home, but a gunsmith will get it dead-on the first time.
