Instead of the aluminum sleeve and painted-on ring you'll find on a lot of night sights, Night Fision uses a patented injection-molded sleeve that locks the tritium vial in place and forms a brighter, tougher ring they call the Perfect Dot. A domed lens sits over the tritium to collimate the light into a crisp, defined glow rather than a fuzzy smear. The result is a front sight that grabs your eye fast in any lighting, which is exactly what you want on a defensive pistol.
The sight bodies are CNC-machined from steel and finished in black nitride to fight off wear and corrosion, so they hold up to the daily grind of holster draws and reholstering. Night Fision builds these in the USA using Swiss tritium, and the tritium carries a long service life so you're not replacing them anytime soon.
