This Night Fision set upgrades the factory irons on your H&K with a front sight built around the company's Perfect Dot design. Instead of the usual aluminum sleeve with a painted-on ring, Night Fision uses an injection-molded ballistic polymer sleeve that locks the tritium vial in place and forms a bright ring around it. The result is a front dot that grabs your eye in the daytime thanks to its orange fluorescent ring and keeps glowing on its own after the sun goes down.
The orange front paired with a blacked-out rear is a popular carry setup for good reason. With no distractions on the rear sight, your eye naturally settles on that bright front dot, which is exactly where your focus should be when it counts. The orange color tends to jump out against most backgrounds, and folks running HK VP9 and VP9SK pistols have noted how well the fit and glow hold up in real use.
Both sights are CNC machined from steel and finished in black nitride, so they hold up to holster wear and weather better than softer coatings. Night Fision packs more tritium into their vials than a lot of competing sights, and a domed lens sits over the front vial to collimate the light into a crisp, defined dot rather than a fuzzy smudge. The tritium itself is sourced from Switzerland, while the sights are built here in the USA.

If you have a sight pusher and some experience, plenty of people install them at home without trouble.
Tritium is self-powered and glows without needing any charging or batteries, and Night Fision uses Swiss tritium in these sights. You can expect strong glow for many years, with the light gradually fading over time as is normal for all tritium sights. The orange front ring is fluorescent, so it stays visible in daylight even independent of the tritium.
A single bright front dot with a plain rear helps your eye lock onto the front sight without competing dots pulling your focus.
