Description
The Night Fision Costa Ludus set was built to solve a specific problem: getting your eye on the front sight quickly, whether you're on a bright range or clearing a dark hallway. Instead of the usual three-dot layout, this set uses a yellow Perfect Dot up front and a single horizontal tritium bar in the rear. That bar sits under the front dot in your sight picture, which gives your brain a clean visual reference and takes the guesswork out of aligning things when the lights are low.
What Sets the Costa Ludus Sights Apart
These were designed with direction from firearms instructor Chris Costa, drawing on his background with the U.S. Coast Guard and years behind the trigger. Both the front and rear faces are serrated to knock down glare, and there's extra serration on the front edge of the rear sight to give you a grippy surface for one-handed slide manipulations off a belt or edge. The rear notch is cut to open up the target picture for faster acquisition, and the shorter profile keeps them well out of the way if you're running a red dot and want a clean co-witness.
Tritium and Build You Can Count On
The front Perfect Dot is a tritium vial wrapped in a pigment-impregnated ballistic polymer ring that won't chip, crack, fade, or peel like painted rings do. Night Fision packs more tritium into their vials than most competitors, which translates to a brighter, longer-lasting glow, and the yellow front carries a 16-year illumination guarantee. The bodies are CNC machined from steel and finished in black nitride for solid wear and corrosion resistance. Everything is built in the USA using Swiss tritium.
Fitment for the Costa Ludus Set
This version (MPN GLK001010YGXG) fits a wide range of Glock models including the 17, 17L, 19, 22 through 28, 31 through 35, and 37 through 39, MOS variants included. Because sight installation calls for a proper pusher tool, having a gunsmith handle the swap is the smart move to protect both your slide and the sights.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will the Costa Ludus sights fit my Glock?
This set covers a broad lineup including the Glock 17, 17L, 19, 22 through 28, 31 through 35, and 37 through 39, and it works with MOS models too. It's a good idea to confirm your generation and exact model before ordering. If you're unsure, we're happy to help you match the right set to your pistol.
Why does the rear sight only have a tritium bar instead of two dots?
The horizontal bar is the whole point of the Costa Ludus design. Instead of hunting for two rear dots, the bar sits directly under your front dot in low light, giving your eye a clean reference and clear separation between front and rear. Plenty of people find it faster to align than a traditional three-dot setup.
How long will the tritium stay bright?
Night Fision packs more tritium into their vials than most competitors, and the green and yellow vials on this set carry a 16-year illumination guarantee from the date of manufacture. Tritium naturally dims over time as it decays, but you'll get many years of reliable glow. That warranty is one of the longer ones in the sight world.
Can I install these sights myself?
Night Fision recommends a gunsmith for installation, and that's solid advice. Pistol sights need a proper sight pusher tool to seat correctly, and forcing them with a punch and hammer can damage the sight or the slide. If you don't have the tools, let a shop handle the swap.
