Running a red dot on your Glock MOS is only half the setup. The other half is a plate that actually holds zero and a set of backup irons you can trust if the electronics ever quit. Night Fision's Optic Plate and Tritium Backup Sight combo covers both in a single package, built specifically for full-size MOS slides and the Aimpoint ACRO P-2 footprint.
The plate is machined from 17-4 stainless steel and finished with a nitride coating, so it shrugs off recoil and holds up to weather and daily wear without loosening or shifting. Night Fision builds these to tight tolerances, which means the ACRO seats flat and stays put shot after shot. The plate measures 0.2 inches thick and drops onto Glock MOS models like the 17, 19, 45, and 47, though it skips the Slimline guns.
The included Optics Ready Stealth sights are the part a lot of combos skimp on. These aren't repurposed suppressor-height irons. They're designed from the dovetail up to sit at the right blade height for a lower 1/3 co-witness with a plate-mounted ACRO P-2, so the irons show up in the bottom of your optic window without crowding the dot. The front ring is high-visibility yellow with a green tritium center, paired with a blacked-out rear that keeps your focus where it belongs. Night Fision packs more tritium into their vials than most and caps them with a domed lens, giving you a sharp, bright dot in low light.
Everything you need to mount up comes in the box. You get the plate, the correct hardware for the ACRO, extra screws, and Night Fision's Optic Tool with a T10 Torx head plus a small flat blade for windage and elevation adjustments. No filing, no fitting, no guesswork. Torque it down to spec and you're headed to the range with a co-witnessed setup and a real iron backup behind the glass.
It fits full-size Glock MOS pistols, including the 17, 19, 45, and 47, along with similar MOS models. The Slimline guns are the exception, so this one won't work on those. Double-check that your slide has the MOS cut before ordering.
The plate is cut for the Aimpoint ACRO P-2 footprint, so it mounts the ACRO P-2 and any other red dot that shares that same mounting pattern. It's not set up for footprints like the RMR or Holosun EPS Carry. If your dot uses the ACRO footprint, you're good to go.
Yes. The included Optics Ready Stealth sights are matched to the right blade height for a lower 1/3 co-witness with a plate-mounted ACRO P-2. That puts the irons in the bottom of your optic window where they back up the dot without blocking your view.
The combo comes with Night Fision's Optic Tool, which has a T10 Torx head for the included hardware and a small flat blade for windage and elevation. You've got what you need to mount the plate and optic. A front sight tool and thread locker for the sight are still worth having on the bench, and many folks like to torque the screws to spec.
