NcStar VISM 42″ Rifle Case Digital Camo CVD290742 Padded

Description

The NcStar VISM Rifle Case gives your long gun a padded home without the bulk or price tag of a hard case. It runs 42 inches long and about 13 inches tall on the outside, with a tough PVC tactical nylon shell wrapped around high density foam inner padding. That foam is what keeps your rifle's finish safe from bumps, dings, and the everyday knocks that come with hauling a gun to the range and back. The digital camo pattern has a smooth, clean look that holds up well over time.

What the VISM 42" Case Carries

This case keeps things organized without going overboard. One side has an ID holder so you can label your gear, and the other side carries covered pockets for stashing extra magazines, a loader, or small accessories. The main compartment zips shut with heavy duty metal double zippers, and metal D-rings give you solid attachment points. A 1.5 inch adjustable shoulder strap comes along for the ride, so you can sling it over your shoulder when your hands are full.

Picking the Right Fit for Your Rifle

At 42 inches of outside length, this case swallows most full-size rifles and carbines with room to spare. NcStar's own guidance is to grab a case at least two inches longer than your rifle's overall length, so measure your gun before you commit. For a lot of AR platforms, bolt guns, and longer sporting rifles, the 42-inch size hits the sweet spot.

Built for Real Range Use

The VISM line has earned a reputation as practical, no-nonsense gear, and this case fits that mold. Heavy duty carry handle straps with a hook and loop flap wrap the middle so you can grab and go, and the whole package weighs in around 2.3 pounds. Whether you're heading to the bench, a training day, or just moving a rifle from the truck to the safe, it does the job without fuss.
