The smartest feature on this revolver is one you can't see at a glance. NAA machines halfway notches between the chambers, and once you've loaded all five rounds, you lower the hammer into one of those notches. The hammer sits securely between cartridges, meaning you get a full five-round payload with no risk of a drop setting one off. Cock the hammer and the cylinder rotates to a live chamber, ready to go. Chambering this one in .22 WMR was a good call. Out of the short barrel it pushes 30 to 45 grain bullets with noticeably more authority than .22 LR, and it happily digests everything from hollow points to .22 Magnum shot shells, which makes it a favorite among hikers, campers, and folks working around snake country. The bird's head rosewood grip gives it a touch of old-west character and settles surprisingly well into the hand for something this small.

Yes, and that's one of its best features. The cylinder has halfway notches machined between each chamber, and after loading you lower the hammer into one of those notches. The hammer rests securely between rounds, so you get full five-round capacity without any risk of the hammer sitting on a live primer.
Not out of the box. This model is chambered specifically for .22 WMR, and .22 LR rounds are not designed for the magnum chamber. NAA does offer a .22 LR conversion cylinder for this frame, so you can add that later if you want cheaper practice ammo in the same gun.
It sure will. This revolver runs all popular .22 Magnum loads including shot shells, sometimes sold as snake shot. That versatility is a big reason these little revolvers are so popular with hikers, campers, and ranchers who spend time in snake country.
Loading is old-school and simple. You remove the cylinder pin, take the cylinder out of the frame, load the chambers, and reinstall it. The half-cock position is used for loading and unloading only, and once loaded you lower the hammer into one of the safety notches for carry.
