It's single action only, so you cock the hammer manually for each shot. The trigger has no guard and sits nearly flush with the frame, which is part of what keeps the gun so slim and snag-free. It takes a little practice to run smoothly, but the manual of arms is simple once you get the hang of it.
Yes. NAA machines safety notches into the cylinder between the chambers, so you can lower the hammer into a notch and lock the cylinder in place. That way the hammer rests on solid steel instead of a live cartridge rim, allowing safe carry with a full five rounds.
No, this version (NAA-BWLA) is chambered in .22 LR only. NAA does offer a magnum-only Black Widow and a convertible model that ships with both .22 LR and .22 WMR cylinders if you want that flexibility. The upside of the LR-only model is affordable ammo and very light recoil in such a small package.
Better than most people expect. The Black Widow's heavy vent rib barrel, full-size rubber grips, and elevation-adjustable Marble Arms sights make it the most shootable gun in NAA's mini lineup alongside the Mini-Master. It's built for close-range work, and with practice it groups respectably at defensive distances.
