The MRO Anti-Reflection Device is Trijicon's fix for that. It's a honeycomb baffle that slips over the 25mm objective and breaks up reflections so your position stays your business, not the whole field's.
The build is simple and tough. It's molded from hard polymer, the same kind of material made to shrug off the conditions your optic already lives in, and it carries a matte black finish that blends right in with the sight and the rifle. The honeycomb pattern does its job on the light without cluttering up your view through the dot, so you still get a clean sight picture when you bring the gun up. As a bonus, it sits right over the objective and acts as a little armor for that front lens when the optic is knocking around in a bag or a truck.
This is a slip-on design with adjustable tension, so it friction-fits over the objective bezel and holds without tools or hardware. Snug it down and it stays where you want it. Plenty of owners run it alongside their protective lens caps with no clearance headaches, which makes it easy to leave on full time.
The AC31018 is built specifically for the Trijicon MRO line. Because the standard MRO and the MRO HD share the same objective lens size, this one device covers both.
