The Mossberg 93010 is a factory OEM Slugster barrel built to drop right onto your Mossberg 930 semi-auto and turn it into a purpose-built slug gun. It runs 24 inches with a fully-rifled bore, adjustable rifle sights, and a low-glare matte blued finish. If you hunt whitetail, hog, or bear in slug-only country, this is the barrel that gets your 930 doing serious work in the deer woods.
The fully-rifled bore is the whole point here. Those spiral grooves put a spin on saboted slugs the same way a rifle spins a bullet, and that stabilization is what tightens groups downrange. Reviewers testing the 930 in this configuration have reported sub-1.5-inch groups at 50 yards with quality sabot loads, which is flat-out impressive for a shotgun. The 24-inch length keeps the gun handy in a treestand or ground blind while still giving you a good sight radius.
This is a rifled barrel, so it wants saboted slugs, not the old Foster-style "pumpkin ball" loads. Sabots like Hornady SST/FTX, Remington AccuTip, and Lightfield have a reputation for shooting well out of Mossberg rifled bores. Foster and rifled slugs will still go bang, but they won't group anywhere near as tight, so save those for your smoothbore. It pays to try a couple different sabot loads and let your barrel tell you which one it likes.

This barrel is built specifically for the Mossberg 930 12 gauge semi-auto platform. It's a factory OEM part, so it's designed to drop in and headspace correctly on the 930 without gunsmithing. It will not fit the 500, 835, or 940 series since those use different barrel designs.
Since the 93010 has a fully-rifled bore, you'll want saboted slugs to get the best accuracy. Loads like Hornady SST/FTX, Remington AccuTip, and Lightfield have a strong track record in Mossberg rifled barrels. Foster-style rifled slugs will fire but won't group well, so leave those for a smoothbore barrel.
This version comes with adjustable rifle sights rather than an integral cantilever scope base, so you'd mount an optic to the receiver rather than the barrel. The iron sights are fully adjustable for windage and elevation and will get you on target quickly. Many hunters run the rifle sights as-is and find them plenty accurate for typical slug ranges.
With the right sabot ammo, testers have posted groups in the 1.3 to 1.5-inch range at 50 yards, which puts you comfortably in deer-killing territory out to around 100 yards. Accuracy comes down to finding the load your specific barrel prefers, so pattern a few before the season. It's a great fit for slug-only zones where a centerfire rifle isn't an option.
