The Kinetic Development Group MK II SRX3 rail extension takes the compact Grand Power Stribog SP9 and turns it into a far more shootable little platform. That extra length out front gives your support hand somewhere real to grab, which pays off during rapid strings or longer range sessions where the stock forend just runs out of room. It's machined from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum and finished in a Type III hard coat anodize, so it holds up to hard use without adding much heft. Overall length lands around 6.5 inches with the rail itself tipping the scale near 4.2 ounces.
The big story with this MkII version is the extra quarter inch over the older SRX3. That 3.25-inch dimension isn't random. It opens up room for a second full M-LOK slot on the bottom rail, so you get more usable mounting space for lights, lasers, grips, and pressure switches. M-LOK slots run the length of the extension, and the top carries a T-marked Picatinny section if you're running a forward optic or sight setup.
There's a 1.7-inch internal diameter inside the shroud, which gives most common 9mm cans plenty of breathing room. The venting throughout keeps things from turning into a hand warmer after you've put some rounds downrange suppressed. The contoured profile fits the hand naturally and keeps the whole package trim, so you're not trading away the Stribog's compact feel to gain the extra control.
Kinetic redesigned the MkII so all the components use the same screws, which streamlines assembly compared to the original. It attaches directly to the receiver and ships with the mounting bridge, clamps, and hardware you need. Plan on removing the factory front sight and muzzle device during the install, and note this fits SP9A1, SP9A3, and SP9A3S models with M-LOK receivers.
It's built for the Grand Power Stribog SP9A1, SP9A3, and SP9A3S with M-LOK receivers. It does not fit the 10mm or .45 ACP variants. Double-check that your receiver has the M-LOK cuts before ordering.
Yes. Because the rail extends the shroud past the muzzle, you'll want to pair it with a suppressor or a muzzle extension like KDG's SMX3 so the blast is directed safely forward of your support hand. Running it bare is not the way to go.
The shroud has a 1.7-inch internal diameter, which clears most common 9mm cans. There's ventilation throughout the extension to help keep the grip area cooler during suppressed shooting. Confirm your suppressor's outside diameter falls under 1.7 inches.
