The Midwest Industries MP5 M-LOK Suppressor Handguard was built to do one thing well: give your suppressor-equipped MP5 a longer, tougher, more capable forend. This is a suppressor-length rail, meaning it extends out over your 3-lug or threaded can so the suppressor tucks up inside the handguard for added protection and a cleaner profile. It runs 10.375 inches long, tips the scale right around 9.4 ounces installed, and is machined from a single piece of 6061 aluminum finished in hard coat black anodizing that shrugs off wear and weather.
The M-LOK slots run down both sides with a Picatinny section up top, so mounting lights, a hand stop, a laser, or a foregrip is straightforward. It also includes two anti-rotation QD sling swivel sockets and ships with a five-slot M-LOK rail section, which covers most peoples' first accessory needs right out of the box. The one-piece design keeps things rigid and lightweight, and it pairs nicely with the classic MP5 lines while modernizing the whole front end.
This handguard is made for the A1 and A2 style MP5 and plays well with plenty of clones, including the Century AP5, Zenith ZF5, and the Military Arms Corporation MAC 5.
