The Midwest Industries Arm Brace Side-Folding Stock in O.D. Green is what you reach for when a basic buffer tube feels flimsy but a full stock takes up too much room. The heart of it is a heavy-duty side-folding mechanism machined from 4140 heat-treated steel with a full-length locking lug, so it snaps into a positive lock in both the extended and folded positions. No wobble at the range, no rattle in the truck. It mounts to any firearm running a Picatinny end plate, which makes it a natural fit for AR pistol builds and plenty of other platforms.
The body is hard coat anodized 6061 aluminum, and the steel parts wear a mag phosphate finish, so this thing is built to take a beating and keep looking sharp. Folded up, it only adds about three quarters of an inch to your firearm, and it runs a complete assembly weight around 14.2 ounces. A steel clamp with large surface engagement handles the retention, giving you the kind of rigidity that a lot of aluminum-only folders just can't match.
One of the best touches here is that the mechanism can be set up to fold either right or left, so lefties and righties both get a clean layout that keeps the folded stock out of the way of ejection ports and controls. Five QD sling attachment points give you room to run your sling however you like, whether that's a single-point setup or a two-point carry.
