Finding a holster that handles a weapon light without turning into a brick on your beltline is one of the more frustrating parts of building an everyday carry setup. Mission First Tactical tackled that problem head on with the Pro Series IWB Light Holster, molded specifically for the Glock 19 running a Streamlight TLR-1. The Kydex shell wraps the pistol and light in a slim package that rides inside the waistband, works great for appendix carry, and converts to OWB when you want to run it on the outside.
Instead of a lever or hood, MFT built retention around a strong neodymium magnet system rated at 11 pounds of maximum pull. Your loaded pistol stays put through daily movement, then releases with a clean, smooth draw when you need it. Just as important, the retention does not key off the TLR-1 itself. An integrated barrel stabilizer keeps the pistol aligned with the holster spine, so the rig runs fine with or without the light mounted. You also get full trigger guard coverage, a mid-height sweat guard to keep the slide off your skin, an optic relief cut for slide-mounted red dots, and a sight channel tall enough for suppressor-height sights.
The built-in vertical wedge pushes the grip in toward your body and fights the slump and sag that cheaper holsters develop over time. Pair that with the ambidextrous belt claw, which uses stackable shims and height adjustment to dial in exactly how hard it rotates the grip inward, and printing becomes a lot less of a concern even with a full-size light hanging off the rail. Cant is adjustable through 15 degrees, ride height is adjustable too, and the whole thing flips for left-handed carry without buying anything extra.
Two tuckable 1.5 inch belt clips and a standard 1.5 inch clip come in the package, so you can set it up several different ways right out of the box. A dab of blue thread locker on the hardware once you find your sweet spot and this rig is set for the long haul.
Yes. The retention system keys off the pistol through the magnetic system and an integrated barrel stabilizer, not the light itself. That stabilizer keeps the barrel aligned with the holster spine, so the fit and draw stay consistent whether the TLR-1 is mounted or not.
It does. There is a relief cut for slide-mounted optics, so most common red dots ride right over the top without contact. The sight channel is also cut for suppressor-height sights, which is handy if you co-witness with your optic.
Yes, the design is fully ambidextrous. The clips and belt claw can be mounted for right or left side carry, and the same holster converts between IWB and OWB positioning. No separate left-hand version needed.
