Mechanix Wear M-Pact Covert Tactical Gloves – Large, Black

Description

The Mechanix Wear M-Pact Covert has earned its reputation as one of the go-to impact gloves for a reason. It hits the sweet spot between protection and dexterity, giving you rugged coverage across the back of the hand while still letting you handle small parts, tools, and controls without fighting the glove. In all black with a low-profile Covert look, it's the kind of glove that pulls double duty at the range, on the job site, or under the hood.

What Makes the M-Pact Covert Tick

Protection comes from Thermoplastic Rubber (TPR) knuckle and finger guards that take the hits so your hands don't, meeting the EN 13594 impact standard. Down in the palm, D3O padding absorbs and disperses high-impact energy and vibration, which cuts down on the hand fatigue that creeps in during long sessions. The synthetic leather palm is touchscreen capable, so you can check your phone or run a device without peeling the gloves off.

Fit, Feel, and Everyday Durability

The form-fitting TrekDry upper keeps things breathable and cool while a flexible TPR closure locks the fit around your wrist. Internal fingertip reinforcement on the index finger and thumb adds durability in the spots that wear out first, and the ribbed grip pattern helps you hang onto tools and gear. Folks who run these gloves regularly point to the dexterity and feel as standouts, and plenty use them for work, riding, and shooting alike.

Care and Real-World Use

When they get grimy, toss them in the wash since the M-Pact Covert is machine washable, and a pair of nylon carrier loops makes them easy to clip and store. This is a Large in Black, part number MPT-55-010, and it's a solid pick if you want dependable impact coverage that doesn't turn your hands into clubs.
