The standout feature is the patented self-centering, floating shell holder. Instead of fighting to line up a case under the die, the holder lets the brass find its own center so the case and die stay in proper alignment. That translates to better concentricity and lower runout on sized and seated rounds. The open-front C-frame design is the other big win here. With the front wide open, getting cases in and out is easy, and seating bullets is far less fiddly than reaching around a closed O-frame window.
Spent primers drop down through the center of the one-inch ram and exit an angled port near the bottom, falling into a catch tray that clips onto the back of the press. It's a cleaner setup than the plastic cups you'll find on a lot of single-stage presses, and it keeps primer grit off the ram. The handle is reversible for left or right hand operation, and the frame itself is ambidextrous friendly, so lefties aren't left out. The Marksman accepts any standard 7/8-14 threaded die, so your existing die sets drop right in and caliber changes are quick.
