As an extended 10-round magazine, this will protrude slightly below the grip when installed in your pistol. That extra capacity gives you two more rounds than a standard 7-round magazine, which adds up when you're training or competing. Just keep in mind that getting all 10 rounds loaded takes a bit more finger strength than loading 8 or 9, but that's normal for extended mags and gets easier with practice.
