Description

MDT built the ACC Premier Gen2 for one job: winning matches. This right-hand chassis drops your Ruger American Rimfire action into a hard-anodized 6061 aluminum platform finished in Cerakote Charcoal Green, giving that budget-friendly rimfire a foundation that competes with rifles costing several times more. It borrows heavily from MDT's flagship ACC Elite, so you get a stiffer forend, a taller integrated barricade stop, and the same competition DNA that shows up on PRS and NRL-22 firing lines.

The forend runs a compact 15 inches, sized specifically for the shorter barrels common on rimfire builds, and it carries a full-length integrated ARCA rail for quick bipod and tripod mounting. The wide, flat underside kills flex and torsion, so the rifle sits dead-still on barricades and props. There's plenty of M-LOK real estate along the sides for accessories, plus room for external weights.

Dialing In the ACC Premier Gen2 Weight System

What sets the ACC apart is balance tuning. Interior weights slide into the forend and screw down, while M-LOK weights bolt to the exterior, letting you shift the balance point and tame the already-light recoil of a rimfire. You can even add a rear weight in the buttstock to move things back. It means you can adjust the feel of the rifle right at the bench between stages instead of guessing at home.

Fit and Adjustment on the ACC Premier Gen2

The included MDT SRS-X Lite buttstock handles the ergonomics. Length of pull adjusts in one-inch of range via quarter-inch spacers, the cheek riser tunes your comb height for a repeatable weld, and the included MDT Vertical Grip – Premier lets you set hand position to match your hold. A hole in the trigger guard gives you access to adjust trigger weight without pulling the barreled action.

Install is refreshingly simple. Drop your Ruger American Rimfire action in, snug the action screws, and you're ready for the range. It feeds from factory Ruger rimfire magazines, so there's no scrambling for new mags to get running.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the ACC Premier Gen2 chassis fit my Ruger American Rimfire out of the box?

Yes, this version is inletted specifically for the Ruger American Rimfire action in a right-hand configuration. Installation is straightforward: drop the barreled action into the chassis and tighten the action screws, no gunsmithing required. Just double-check you have the standard Ruger American Rimfire and not a different Ruger platform before ordering.

What magazines does the Ruger American Rimfire ACC Premier Gen2 use?

The rimfire version runs your factory Ruger rimfire magazines, so there's nothing extra to buy to get feeding. That keeps things simple since you can use the mags that came with your rifle. Note that the centerfire ACC chassis models use AICS pattern magazines, but this rimfire inlet is set up for the Ruger factory mags.

Is the weight system on the ACC Premier Gen2 worth it for a rimfire?

It's a big part of why competitors reach for this chassis. Interior weights load into the forend and external M-LOK weights mount on the sides, letting you fine-tune balance and steady the rifle for faster target acquisition and follow-up shots. Even on a light-recoiling .22, dialing in the balance point makes positional and barricade shooting noticeably more stable.

Can I adjust the length of pull and cheek height on this chassis?

Absolutely. The included MDT SRS-X Lite buttstock offers length of pull adjustment through quarter-inch spacers plus an adjustable cheek riser for a repeatable cheek weld. The MDT Vertical Grip – Premier also lets you tune hand position, and since it's AR-15 grip compatible you can swap in your favorite grip if you prefer.
