The MDT Worker LSS Gen3 is the pared-down, get-to-work version of MDT's most modular chassis platform. It takes your Savage 110 short action and gives it a rigid aluminum backbone with a slim profile that carries well and points fast. This is the kit for the hunter, the ranch shooter, or anyone who wants a legit precision chassis without a bunch of extra weight hanging off the front. Install is drop-in simple with no gunsmithing, so you secure your barreled action and you're ready to head to the range.
The Worker comes preconfigured with a compact CCS buttstock and a short forend wrapped in polymer side panels. Those panels give you a comfortable hold and some welcome temperature resistance when the barrel gets warm or the weather turns cold. It runs an AR-15 style pistol grip, so if you already shoot an AR the ergonomics feel familiar. Underneath it all is the same core chassis found across the Gen3 lineup, complete with V-block bedding to lock the action in tight and repeatable.
The Gen3 chassis takes standard AICS pattern magazines, which is a big deal if your Savage runs a blind or hinged magazine from the factory. This setup converts it over to drop-free detachable mags, and an ambidextrous release lets you dump a mag with a push of the trigger finger. There's also a built-in barricade stop at the front of the magwell and M-LOK slots for adding a bipod, sling, or light.

Because it's built on the LSS Gen3 platform, you can swap the forend, buttstock, or grip down the road without pulling the barreled action and losing your zero.
