The MDT LSS Gen3 Competitor takes the guesswork out of building a match rifle. Instead of piecing together a forend here and a buttstock there, MDT already picked the parts that matter for PRS and NRL and bolted them to the same rock-solid Gen3 core. It fits right-hand Tikka T3 and T3x short actions, wears a Flat Dark Earth finish, and drops your barreled action straight in with no bedding or gunsmithing required. Two action screws, about 65 inch-pounds, a quick function check, and you are pretty much ready for the range.
The headline piece is the wide, flat Competition forend with a 10-inch integrated ARCA rail. That flat bottom parks nicely on barricades and bags, and the ARCA lets you slide a bipod or lock into a tripod without fussing with adapters. It is drilled and tapped for MDT Control and NV bridges, and there are M-LOK slots and pockets along the sides and bottom for whatever else you want to hang on it. Out back you get the SRS-X Lite buttstock with adjustable length of pull and an integrated barricade stop, plus the Elite vertical grip up front.
Every Gen3 chassis is built around a central core that mates to the action, so you can swap forends, stocks, and grips down the road without ever pulling the barreled action or losing your zero. It runs standard AICS pattern magazines, uses an ambidextrous mag latch that drops mags with a push of the trigger finger, and seats the action on MDT's aluminum V-block bedding for consistent, repeatable accuracy. The barrel free-floats the way a precision setup should.
The Competitor arrives competition-ready but stays fully modular. Add weights, bridges, or a different grip as your build evolves, or reconfigure it entirely if your goals change. It is a serious foundation that will keep up as you do.
This kit is inletted for right-hand Tikka T3 and T3x short action rifles. The barreled action drops into the chassis core and torques down with the two included action screws, no bedding or gunsmithing needed. If you run a left-hand action or a long action, you would want a different inlet from MDT's lineup.
